Former CosmoGIRL! entertainment editor Lauren Brown West-Rosenthal reunites with Ashley Parker Angel — nearly 25 years after their first meeting — in the launch edition of her new Parade partnership for The Teen Mag Time Machine. The interview was shot in-person at the High Level Science Happy Hour at GNC in New York City, where fans lined up around the block (some flying in from out of state) clutching vintage O-Town CDs and photos to meet Ashley and sing a little karaoke.

The post recaps the exclusive backstory of how Simon Cowell originally passed on All or Nothing before Clive Davis handed it to O-Town, plus two new Y2K videos: Ashley playing a rapid-fire round of “This or That” and flipping through vintage teen magazines. Lauren is also giving away the exact Teen Beat cover Ashley autographed during the shoot.
